From Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights, a timeless audience favourite, to It Happened One Night, an Oscar winner It’s amusing and ultimately quite exciting to see a seemingly unrelated pair fall in love, as in the movie When Harry Met Sally. Even a so-so, predictable rom-com that is confident in sticking to tropes and never aims further than mediocrity may be comforting in its familiarity. When Imogen is a freshman and Al is a sophomore, they first meet at a college in New York City. He aspires to become a chef like his father, but she is a gifted artist. They make out after she chooses a music for them after they fell in love. But she worries about ageing, getting marry too soon, and having kids before she’s ready. Imogen fears that this might just be a false romantic illusion. He is upset when she sleeps with someone else, and the marriage falls apart. He enters a depression with the help of booze once she departs for San Francisco. In an effort to get rid of his addiction, he even consumes her shampoo.

The love of Daphne Wilder, a mother, knows no limits or restrictions. The company’s stock and their family’s image are abruptly destroy by a scandal. Their credit cards gets suspend one of them sets the mansion on fire, and the other gives their sports car to a robber who they believe to be a valet parking attendant.

They consequently move in with their old cleaning lady, a Latina. Henry Baines, whose free legal aid for the poor charity they didn’t even consider for sponsoring. The hot lab technician Rick, whom they previously mistook for the nonexistent firm parking lot attendant. Hence, providing assistance in determining whether the firm is really best sold to rival Fabiella, as Tommy claims.
