Vikings Tv Series Netflix Review, Vikings have been ignored by casual fans for some time. People really think that Vikings is a Game Of Thrones rip-off and ignores it because of that. But that is not the case at all. I know that it has some similarities with Game of Thrones, but it is so much different. It might be simpler and more basic than Game Of Thrones. It focuses on the only family and might have more impact when it comes to history. Vikings might be one of the most historically accurate shows in terms of setting. It is also one of the most rigid ones.

Vikings Tv Series Netflix Review really explore every single possibility they could have explored. That might be one of the reasons for the Netflix Viking’s decline in the last two seasons, but it was also the reason for some of the best moments on the show. Netflix Vikings take us to dirty politics revolving around that era, the struggle for power, it also brings out people religion and relation to Norse Gods. In short, the Netflix Viking show is a complete package that will really take you through a weird journey.

Vikings Plot

The official synopsis of the show reads “Vikings transports us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok, a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore – and raid – the distant shores across the ocean”.

The show follows the adventure of Ragnar Lothbrok. Who is regarded as the greatest hero of his age. The story follows him and his band’s adventure. It also follows his and his family’s rise to become the rulers of the tribe. Ragnar has a weird obsession for adventure and he is devoted to his gods. His ambition to reach the top of the mountain makes a really interesting narrative to follow. The story is inspired by the adventures of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best-known legendary Norse heroes and notorious as the scourge of England and France.

The best thing about Viking is that it really focuses on drama. Many fans have said that it is pure stupid action, but that is not the case. The show really hits hard in terms of drama too. The political struggle is just amazing here. You should really watch Vikings if you have any interest in a political kind of drama. And above that, the action is just so brilliant.

The Vikings Cast

The cast is really strong and it is where the rigidness comes in. Every cast member has done a brilliant job here. The raw nature of every cast member just fits the role. Alexander Ludwig and Katheryn Winnick have done some of the best works I have ever seen. After the first season, you can really see the cast getting the hang of the setting. Travis Fimmel as Ragnar Lothbrok just fits the main lead of the show. His raw charisma with very few words and just glare at the camera will really send a chill down your spine. Another cast member that really impressed me was Gustaf Skarsgård as Floki. He is just brilliant and looks powerful.

The Vikings: Is It Worth It?

Absolutely, YES! Netflix Vikings might have gone downhill after the third season. But that should not stop you from watching the first three seasons. “Just because something gets worse much later that doesn’t mean you should feel bad about watching the good seasons and not watching the decline”. Vikings Tv Series Netflix Review is a perfect example of an entertaining show. You will love it from the start to finish. And the absolute best thing about the show is the character definition. Every character gets their screen time and time to shine.
