Top Gun and Mission Impossible 7 Delayed: I thought we were over the scenario of movies getting delayed. But it looks like we are still not over it. Not one, but two of Tom Cruise’s upcoming movies have been delayed. The particular reason has not been revealed yet, but we are pretty sure it is due to the pandemic. America’s situation regarding the Coronavirus pandemic is improving, but other countries are still facing problems. And that will affect the business of the movies.
Top Gun and Mission Impossible 7 Delayed
Rather than any OOT platform like Amazon Prime or Netflix. It is no dig on those platforms, I just miss theaters. I think that it is the right decision. As countries like France and India are going into another lockdown, the movie’s business will be drastically affected. And Paramount is not a big production house like Warner Bros., MCU, and other big names that can afford to release movies right now. So even if they somehow released the movie, they would have had to make some significant cuts, which would have affected both movies and Top Gun and Mission Impossible 7.
Top Gun: Maverick Release Date
Top Gun: Maverick was supposed to release on the Fourth of July this year, but will now release on November 19, 2021. It is a significant delay and the new release date has replaced the original release date of Mission Impossible 7. It is Paramount following the steps of HBO Max and other production houses.
We will see Tom Cruise returning as Maverick in the flick. Other casts include Jennifer Connelly as Penny Benjamin, Val Kilmer as Iceman, Miles Teller as Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw, and Jean Louisa Kelly as Carole Bradshaw. You can read the whole cast at IMDB or Paramount’s official website.
Joseph Kosinski is directing the movie. Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie are writing the screenplay while Justin Marks is in charge of the story. Emily Cheung, Tom Cruise, and Jerry Bruckheimer are producing this series.
Mission Impossible 7 Release Date
The movie has been almost a year now. The seventh part of the franchise will now hit the theaters on May 27, 2022, rather than November 17, 2021. Just like Top Gun, Mission Impossible will also come on Paramount+ 45 days after the release of the movie.
