Top 10 Netflix Shows, It’s the start of a new month and Netflix has once again released their list of top 10 TV shows of the month. May 2021 was a big month for Netflix, as we saw so many big shows getting released that month. It wasn’t only the Netflix series released in May, but some old series also made it to the top 10. We have got you covered and will give you the list of all the 10 shows that were revealed by Netflix itself. It wasn’t easy as we have to dig deep to find the list. Shadow and Bone
The first show on the list is the Netflix series Shadow And Bone. Shadow and Bone were released on April 23, 2021, and instantly became a fan favorite. Fans demanded the second season of the Netflix series instantly and they weren’t shy about it either. I know that some parts of the Netflix series Shadow and Bone might be cheesy for some people, but that is exactly what I liked about it so much. The first season was more like an origin story of our protagonist. Things will officially kick off things in the second season. So, I am waiting for the second season desperately. And seeing Shadow and Bone on Top 10 Netflix Shows wasn’t that much of a surprise.
Hoarders
The 12th season of Netflix reality series Hoarders came to Netflix in March 2021 and somehow became popular. As suggested by the name ‘Hoarders’ is a reality TV series based on the life of people who can’t throw anything. They keep hoarding things that not only affects their house but also their life. At first sight, Netflix Hoarders is a normal reality show about the lives of these people. But, after starting the show, it is sort of freaky. Some episodes are downright scary, but it can be a fun watch if you want to know about these kinds of people.
High on the Hog: How African American Cuisine Transformed America
I am glad that Netflix High on the Hog is on this list. I started watching this series as I had nothing else to do, but it really reeled me in. It was interesting and always had my interest. It is educational and engaging and the viewer gets to see the history of how our meals are rooted in Africa. Netflix High on the Hog is a powerful series and is not just a showcase of different kinds of foods. It takes you back to the old days of slavery and then back to the present.
Jupiter’s Legacy
Netflix Jupiter’s Legacy was my most awaited series of the year so far. The plot of the show intrigued me so much. I was expecting it to be something like Amazon Prime Invincible, but expectations killed it for me. Don’t get me wrong, the story was pretty decent, but they took so long to tell us that story. They unnecessarily dragged it out and that made it kind of meh in my opinion. But, if you can cope up with that it has kind of a good story to tell.
The Upshaws
I honestly recommend you to watch this series no matter what. It is a sitcom based on the life of an African-American family in today’s world. And it is one of the funniest things I have ever watched. The humor is really good and the character development of almost every character is logical and brilliant. It has become one of my favorite comedy show. I was expecting big things from Netflix The Upshaws as Wanda Sykes was one of the creators. And it didn’t disappoint me. Just hoping that Netflix gives The Upshaws more seasons as it definitely is one of the Best Netflix comedy shows.
StartUp
Another must-watch series. Honestly, Netflix StartUp might be one the sweetest thing I have ever watched. I wasn’t expecting anything from Netflix Start-Up, to be honest. But the acting was so good that I stayed till the end. Edi gave some of the most awe-inspiring performances I’ve seen in this show. I can talk about Netflix StartUp the whole day and might accidentally give you a spoiler. So I will stop myself here only. And will advise you to watch this show instantly. I was expecting Netflix StartUp to be one of the Top 10 Netflix Shows.
Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous
I was waiting for an animated show to be on this list. And it had to be Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. I will go ahead and say that it is better than the Jurassic World movies. The characters and story are way better, and I will go as far as to say that it is on par with the original movie. There are many plot holes as every animated show has that, but you can easily ignore those as you will be simmered down in the show itself.
Cocomelon
Cocomelon is kids show alright. And yes, it is a good show for kids. I can’t say much about Netflix Cocomelon, but it is a fun and safe watch for the kids. Even the adult themes are handled pretty well and were made safe enough for the kids. So, if you are looking for an entertaining show for kids in your house, Cocomelon is the way to go.
Ragnarok
I was sure that Ragnarok will be the Top 10 Netflix Shows. Ragnarok season 2 was one of the most awaited shows of the year and it didn’t disappoint. It won’t be wrong to say that it is one of the most beautiful-looking shows of 2021. The pacing of the show was brilliant. And being only six episodes long is the proof of that. The only downside was the overdoing of “the small city with big secrets” trope here. It got boring after a while but nothing you can’t look past.
Lucifer
Now, were you expecting something different? The finale of Netflix Lucifer season 5 was released on May 27, 2021, and it was one of the best finales of the series. Lucifer’s Season 5 Netflix review can be summed up in one word as “satisfying”. It was amazing and gripping right from start till the end. You won’t be bored even for a second. And Lucifer Season 5 Netflix finale is the perfect example of that.
