The Witcher, The teaser also gave us the first look at Geralyt’s mentor Vesemir.
The Witcher, Netflix is completely onboard with the Witcher series. And the latest teaser of The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf solidifies that. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is an upcoming anime series, that will release before the second season of Witcher. And the story we are getting this time around is interesting and I am excited about that. This anime series will give us a new perspective about The Witcher before entering into the second season. And that is needed. Because The Witcher is an overwhelming series and getting something new before that is really good.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf Plot
The official synopsis of the anime reads “Long before mentoring Geralt, Vesemir begins his own journey as a Witcher after the mysterious Deglan claims him through the Law Of Surprise”.
The story will focus on Vesemir for a change. Vesemir is Geralt’s mentor. Everything Geralt knows has been taught to him by Vesemir only. We won’t see Geralt in the anime, not in the first season at least. Because the story will focus on Vesemir’s early days when he was a full-fledged Witcher.
Fans wanted a game about either Ciri or Vesmir and now we got an anime about him. Let’s see how well it will be. I am interested to see what will they explore but with Geralt, we had the search for Ciri and Destiny, and other political shit going on but with Vesemir I am not sure what he will do other than hunting monsters. So, not being sure of what we are getting is an amazing thing. It means that the series can surprise us and that is all I want right now.
Nightmare of the Wolf Release Date
The anime is all set to release on August 23, 2021. The anime movie will be 1 hour 21 minutes long. The movie will exclusively release on Netflix only without any regional boundaries. So you can enjoy the movie from anywhere you want.
Nightmare of the Wolf Cast
As of now, only one cast member has been revealed. Kim Bodnia will play the role of Vesemir.
Kwang Il Han is directing the movie, while Andrzej Sapkowski and Beau DeMayo are in charge of writing. Go Un Choi and Lauren Schmidt are producing the movie.
Nightmare of the Wolf What To Expect?
As I said, I don’t have any idea what to expect from this series as of now. The teaser was only the first look of Vesemir, so we didn’t get much from it. Things will be clear once the trailer is out. Which will be really soon, as the release date is only one month later. We will update you as soon as something is revealed. So, keep an eye out here.
