Finally, after all this time, HBO Max has released the official full-length trailer of The Friends Reunion special episode. And by the looks of the trailer, it looks so good and nostalgic. They are recreating the Trivia game and that is something good. There will be lots of stars in the show as the trailer revealed.
FRIENDS Reunion: Cast
This will be the first time that every six lead actors will appear on the screen for the first time in almost 15 years. At the 2020 Grammy awards Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, and Courtney Cox appeared as a part of Mini-Reunion. So, you can expect some laugh-out-loud moments again from the cast. Mathew Perry might put on his sarcastic pants and will steal the show again. Let just hope that there won’t be any delay this time and we will get our favorite comedy show again.
There will be other supporting cast members too. And there will be lots of stars on the show. Gigi Hadid, Justin Beiber, James Corden, Lady Gaga, BTS, and other too. It will be a star-studded show and it will be a sight to watch.
FREINDS Reunion: Trailer Breakdown
The trailer featured lots and lots of nostalgic events. With all cast members going to their set. Reminiscing all those moments. It was a hard watch and in a good way. It was emotional. They recreated the Trivia episode and it was everything I can ask for. They go into Central Perk, The famous fountain. Joey and Chandler recreated the sofa scene and it was the best. They finally answered the “Were Ross and Rachel were on a break” question. They also recreated some of the most famous scenes from the series. There will be some behind-the-scenes stories. Richard and Janice will make an appearance. There will be a ramp walk with some of the best costumes from the series. All in all it will be amazing watch.
FREINDS Reunion: Release Date
The special episode is all set to release on May 27, 2021. We personally had a theory that the special episode will release on May 6, 2021. Because May 6, 2004, was the date when the last episode of FRIENDS aired. But it looks like HBO Max is going to release the special episode on May 27, which is their one-year anniversary. The Friends Reunion will surely increase the ratings on the site and it might be a perfect way to celebrate their anniversary.
The shooting was scheduled to begin on March 2020, but was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. But the shooting finally began again on April 5, 2021 and now we are finally getting the show for sure.
What To Expect?
FRIENDS is returning after almost 15 years. So expect some good times at least. You will laugh, cry, and will be emotional for sure. It will be a warm episode that will make you feel good in your happy glands. I am excited for the special episode to finally come out after all these years.
