We are definitely getting Flashpoint storyline in The Flash movie and I am so excited for it. The fact that we are going to see 2 Batman on the big screen is just beautiful. Andy Muschietti just uploaded a photo on his Instagram account showing a crossover between Flash and Batman. And it won’t be just any Batman. It will be Michael Keaton’s Batman that we saw back in 1989 and 1992. We can see Micheal Keaton’s original suit from the movie but this time it is red in color and also The Flash logo is on it. You guys don’t know how excited this makes me.

Obviously, he wrote nothing in the caption, but all of us know what will be the case. Michael Keaton will play the role of Thomas Wayne a.k.a Bruce Wayne’s father. He will be The Batman in an alternate reality that Barry has created while changing the timeline.

The Flash Plot

The Flash 2022 will follow the storyline of “The Flashpoint Paradox” storyline. The movie will feature Michael Keaton as the alternative Batman or Thomas Wayne in the movie. And if they can replicate even half of the magic here, we will be in for an absolute treat.

The official synopsis is still not revealed yet, but as of now, this seems to be the only case. Reverse Flash or Dr.Zoom will be the villain in the movie with Cyborg and Shazam also making an appearance. So, it will be a proper star-studded movie and you can expect big things from it.

The Flash Release Date

The movie is all set to release on November 4, 2022. The movie would have been released so much earlier but has been delayed so many times because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But this time the release date is confirmed and The Flash will hit theaters on November 4, 2022.

Andy Muschietti is directing the movie with Christina Hodson in charge of the writing. Michael Disco, Marianne Jenkins, and Barbara Muschietti are producing the movie with Benjamin Wallfisch in charge of the music. And I am really looking forward to the music of the movie. If there is anything that I can rely on DCEU, it is the music in the movie. So, that is already a lot of pressure on Benjamin Wallfisch.

I actually loved the logo reveal of the movie that was back in April. The vibes I got from it were something similar to a Techno-Sci-Fi vibe and I think that is the only right choice. It kinds of reminds me of the Fantastic Four movie, if that makes any sense. And we are getting a movie that will involve scientists, so I guess it is the right call. With the logo revealed, there was also a sense of Wonder too. Like we are entering a new world or universe. In spite of all the behind-the-scenes drama, I hope that Andy gets to complete his vision without any complications. Because The Flash Films always had the potential for something special if everything goes right. I just hope we can at least get Ray Fisher back for the project because he will make this movie 100X better.

The Flash: What To Expect

Obviously, lots of stuff will be going through the production of the movie. In a recent interview cinematographer, Henry Braham told everyone about the movie and how it is going.

“The Flash is going great. I mean, it’s a complex movie, and it’s a fantastic concept of bringing in the generations of this kind of comic book. Again, it’s not really a comic book movie. It’s not based in reality, but it’s a much more kind of technically complex — I think all the filmmakers are really keen that the technical complexity of the storytelling doesn’t get in the way of just good-quality filmmaking. Hopefully, I don’t think it’ll ever come across as a superhero movie. It will come across as a movie, and that’s what it is. I think that’s the way these things need to go. We need to be making great, great, great films that happen to have superheroes who have truthful characters behind them, with all the character flaws that we find in humanity.”

He declined to say anything further than that. But he said that how nice it was to work with Keaton on the sets. He also talked about the technological challenge of showcasing The Flash’s powers. So, they are working as hard as they can to present those powers in some beautiful ways to the fans.
