The best Horror TV Shows on Netflix: There have been some really good The Best Horror TV Shows on Netflix over the past years. Classics like ‘The Twilight Zone’ still remain a masterpiece, whereas modern shows like ‘American Horror Story’ are also good enough to scare you. Netflix has a very large library of horror shows that you can watch. But having so many options can be confusing at times. That’s why we are here for you. We have prepared a list of some of the best Horror TV Shows on Netflix that you can watch anytime you want. So, buckle up, because this ride is going to be very scary.

The Best Horror TV Shows on Netflix
Santa Clarita Diet
Let’s start with something light. Santa Clarita Diet is a comedy-horror show. But unlike other shows of the same genre that try to keep both aspects balanced, this show goes all out in both aspects. The comedy moments are really funny and The Best Horror TV Shows on Netflix elements are really scary. Drew Barrymore is in this with her best comedic performance of all time. It is one of those shows that you binge-watch completely in one night without any problem. It is nothing special, but for a one-time watch, it might be the perfect show.
Kingdom
I am not into Korean drama that much, But Kingdom is something special. Season 2 just came out and fans can’t get enough of it. I don’t know what, but something about zombie chase in the 1500s has some vibe to it. It has everything that a horror series needs. It is fast-paced, full of action scenes, there some epic battle in the middle, and it even has some twists and turns along the way. A kingdom not only deals with zombie chase and other The Best Horror TV Shows on Netflix. It includes the flavor of monarchy, politics, and warfare. It is a really dark show and zombies aren’t the scariest things here. The treachery and vile nature of the people make it much more interesting.
Ash Vs. Evil Dead
Another comedy horror that is far better than you expect it to be. The show is based 30 years after the events of the movie. If you are an Evil Dead fan and Sami Raimi fan, you owe it to yourself to go and watch this show. This show has everything that will make it worthy of the Evil Dead trilogy. Bruce Campbell is just as badass, the new additions completely fit the scenario, And every other thing you want to be in an Evil Dead series is there. And the main thing is that it carries the charm throughout the end. The only problem is that the show ends on a massive cliffhanger and we might not be able to see the end of it. Evil Dead is one of the best horror movies on Netflix and Ash Vs Evil dead is the perfect sequel to that.
Supernatural
There is a reason why Supernatural has 15 seasons. If you are into classic rock, deep mythology, and fun, fully-fleshed-out characters then this show is definitely for you. The first five seasons are absolutely work of art. The show was originally planned for five seasons only. After that, it went slightly downhill and becomes repetitive. But you should watch Supernatural just for the first five seasons. It has some of the best character development I have ever seen. There are so many guest appearances if you are into other magic-related shows. Overall, it is a fun show that will keep you entertained.
Hannibal
It is more of a psychological thriller rather than a horror show. But the elements of horror it puts in between are just amazing. Hannibal is a wild ride whose destination is not decided. You won’t know where you are headed, but you will enjoy it and that’s for sure. The cliffhanger after each episode is pure class and leaves you demanding more and more. The second season finale is one of my personal episodes in any TV Show. Hannibal’s horror element is more of psychological warfare rather than cheap jump scares and ghost stories. And that is the best kind of horror.
The Haunting of Bly Manor
The sequel of one of the most well-received horror show ‘The Haunting Of Hill House’ might not be good as the first one, but it still is really good. It might be less scary than the first season, but the story is just as good. But the thing is that both seasons should never be compared to each other. Both of them have different stories, different characters, and different types of horror. Bly Manor is more of a spooky romantic tale and it is beautiful. The spooky elements are still there and you will enjoy it if you won’t be pressed on about the first season.
Scream
I know that the movie was better. Scream movie is considered to be one of the best horror movies on Netflix. But the show is also good. It is more dramatic than the movie, with lot more teens and lots more explicit scenes. The vibe is still the same and I am here for it. It won’t scare you as much as a movie, but it will definitely entertain you. And don’t worry there are still so many ruthless scenes for all the blood-loving audience. It is a perfect watch if you are looking to be entertained with horror elements in it.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
This show might be my personal favorite modern horror show. It is based on the famous comic boos series ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’. You can watch this show if you have nothing to watch this weekend, this can be your perfect getaway. This show is good enough to entertain you and won’t require that much of your attention. The first arc of the show is a case of hit and miss, but the second arc is as spooky as you want it to be. The sudden tone shift is amazing, deathly, and beautiful. It gets real creepy real fast. Season 2 was a bust, but season 3 made up for it brilliantly.
Black Mirror
Nothing is scarier than reality and Black Mirror is a perfect example of that. Each episode tells a different story, but one thing constant is that every episode is creepy and dark. The kind of creepy and dark that you want it to be. It is one of The Best Horror TV Shows on Netflix. Black Mirror movie is also considered to be one of the best movies on Netflix. The best thing is that it gets better with every season. The fact that people compare it to The Twilight Zone speaks for itself. This show deals with politics, Sci-Fi, grief, greed, and all the emotions you can expect. It is one of the creepiest shows I have ever watched and it ain’t even close.
Stranger Things
Stranger Things is the guilty pleasure of almost every horror fan. At the start, it rides on nostalgia, but as the story progresses, it gets better and better. Everything that you will watch in the first episode will be explained to you by the end of it. And most horror shows fail to do so. This show is about to slow-burn characters and as I said earlier, Nostalgia. The world-building is almost perfect and the cast plays their role brilliantly. It definitely is one of The Best Horror TV Shows on Netflix.
The Haunting of Hill House
We talked about the sequel before, now let’s talk about the original one. This series will scare you. It will give you creeps and goosebumps. The scene where sister drives the hose is one of the best scares I have ever seen in a series. It depends on jump scare, but it does them right. It is not your average horror cheesy show. Both of the Haunting house series treats horror element as secondary. These are drama based show that focuses on character development and uses Ghostly apparitions as a plot driver. They are creepy, dark, and scary as well.
American Horror Story
I have seen Sarah Paulson on Ellen. There is no way I will believe that she is the same person in the show. We will discuss it later sometime. American Horror Story is kind of a perfect horror show. It will focus on the horror elements rather than the story or plot. It is a case of hit and miss, like all the typical horror shows, but when it hits, it is a home run. The first and second seasons are absolute gems. The best thing is that every season is different from the previous one, so if you don’t like a particular season, you can skip it and still enjoy the show.
The Twilight Zone
I am talking about the classic one, not the crapped up version we got in 2019. If you haven’t heard about ‘The Twilight Zone’ it means you are new into horror genre. Each episode tells a different tale that is downright creepy, philosophical, funny, disturbing, scary and surprisingly relevant. You have to do yourself a favor and watch this. Because this is the best that mainstream horror can get.
