Shadow and Bone Trailer: Netflix is back with another fantasy show and it is looking amazing. Netflix has been trying to get a new hit desperately and it looks like Shadow and Bone might be the one. Shadow and Bone series is based on Leigh Bardugo’s bestselling Grishaverse novels. The novel was a really big hit among all the age groups. And it was just a matter of time before a production house adapts it. Netflix surely won that race. 2 months ago, the teaser for the series was released and fans absolutely loved it. There were even comments that it might be better than the book. And if that was the reaction only by the teaser, the trailer was bound to be explosive.
And it was just as explosive as expected. Shadow & Bone Trailer was released a few days ago and fans went absolutely mental for it. If you scroll down the youtube comment section you will only see positive comments about the show. Some are even saying that it looks exactly like how the book described it. We have seen so many novel adaptations in the past, and how they don’t work. But it looks like Shadow and Bone is going directly into the category of franchises like Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings.

I know I have said it so many times but Shadow and Bone Trailer was absolutely amazing. The trailer showed us a glimpse of the show and introduced us to the main characters of the show. The trailer of the show kind of gave me Harry Potter plus Fantastic Beast vibe while the music was like Stranger Things. I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait for the show to release so I can binge it and then wait for a whole year for the second season. If there will be a second season. It looks like it might be the next big thing on Netflix.
The trailer featured so many amazing scenes and if you have read the book you would have caught a lot of similarities. Like the scene with Alina and Darkling in the room, looks like the King requests to see their power from chapter 7 of the book. And after that, the behind the scene footage confirmed it as well. The trailer was so detailed and it is for the best. We don’t even know how much of the book the first season of the show will cover. I just hope that they don’t rush the show and take their time. After all, we don’t want another Game Of Thrones on our hands.
Plot
According to the official synopsis of Netflix “Sinister forces plot against a young soldier when she reveals a magical power that might unite her world. Based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse novels”. Shadow and Bone is based on two novels by Leigh Bardugo, Shadow and Bone, and Six of Crows.
Shadow & Bone Trailer Shadow will focus on Alina Starkov, who is a mapmaker. After realizing that she has special powers that can save the world from wallowing in darkness, she sets her eyes on that mission. But it won’t be that easy. The world is looming with evil forces knows as Folds, and to save the world she joined elite forces knows as Grisha. She will struggle to control her powers and will realize that there is no real ally in this world. She can only trust herself in this cold and dark world. It will take more than her powers to survive this army of villains and evil forces. Will she be able to save the world? We will have to see and find out for ourselves.
Shadow and Bone Release Date
Shadow And Bone is all set to release on April 23, 2021. Netflix’s Shadow And Bone will consist of 8 episodes, with each episode being almost 40-50 minutes long. The show will be available to stream on Netflix without any regional boundaries, so you will be able to enjoy the show from any part of the world. There has not been a concrete announcement regarding the second season. if we listen to the rumors, the second season is definitely in the plan. I am just praying for these rumors to be true.

The show involves Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, Archie Renaux as Malyen Oretsev, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, and Ben Barnes as General Kirigan. Lee Toland Krieger, Dan Liu, Mairzee Almas, Jeremy Webb and Eric Heisserer are the director of the show. Vanya Asher, Daegan Fryklind, Eric Heisserer, Shelley Meals alongside Christina Strain, and M. Scott Veach are writing the show. It’s a piece of good news that Leigh drive will supervise the script.
The trailer looked amazing and has definitely left me excited and demanding for more. Shadow and Bone might be my most awaited Netflix Series of the year. And if this is a success, who knows, we might get more adaptations of the novels in the future. And if that happens there will be a Grishaverse and I can’t wait for that.
