He started his career as an action hero and became a comedy expert, and then his patriotic nationalism movie took everyone by storm. That is why his upcoming project, Selfiee trailer looks so promising.
But, if you ask his fans which phase of Akshay Kumar they love the most, they will definitely say his comedy roles with Priyadarshan. And those kinds of roles will save Akshay’s career once again. Even though the movie is a remake of the very underwhelming Malayalam movie Driver License, Akshay Kumar can revive this with his comedy timing.

The movie revolves around Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar and his biggest fan Om Prakash Agarwal. When Vijay needs a driving license, Om goes out of his way to get him that. But a misunderstanding creates such havoc that the whole nation is taken aback.
It is nice to see Emraan Hashmi shining in a comedy role. He has very limited experience in comedy, but this role looks like his calling, and he is completely capable of nailing it.
Well, I would have liked it if they kept Mrunal Thakur and Diana Penty a secret, but their roles might be insignificant as it is wholly based around the two male leads. Nushrratt Bharuccha, Adah Sharma, and Tisca Chopra are also in the movie.

The movie is all set for a theatrical release on February 24, 2023. The movie will be around 2 hours and 30 minutes long.
Selfiee: What To Expect?
We can expect a good comedy from the trailer with Akshay and Emraan at its center. I really liked the original movie as well. So, I have high expectations from Selfiee trailer as it will have Akshay Kumar’s comedic timing, which we all know is still unmatched.
The track ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ will come back again; hopefully, it will be just as good as the original. A surprise appearance by Saif will take the song to a new level. The comedy in the movie looks amusing and actually funny.
And it is a delight to see Akshay Kumar taking in on jokes about him doing 100s of movies in a year. So, considering everything, Selfiee might be the movie to kickstart comedy in 2023 Bollywood and kickstart Akshay Kumar’s career once again.
