Netflix ELITE Season 4 Review, ELITE TV Series fell short in terms of creating magic like the previous seasons.

Netflix ELITE Season 4 Review, The hype for the fourth season of Netflix The ELITE was unreal. Every fan of the ELITE TV Series was excited about the fourth season. And because of that, it attracted new fans also. The gradual increase in the number of the ELITE TV series was massive. We were expecting big things this time. I was one of them and binged the whole season in one go. And now that I look back at it, it somehow feels waste and that is not how you should feel. I would have already posted Elite season 4 review, I just needed some time to digest what I just watched. Because it was really bad.

Netflix ELITE Season 4 Review

Netflix ELITE Season 4 Review

So, it won’t be wrong to say that Elite Season 4 was a dud. It was slow, boring, didn’t make any sense, and was filled with plot holes. After a really good third season. Where they dealt with characters’ socio-economic backgrounds brought so many real-life issues into light while continuing the drama/thriller angle. And the reason why fans were excited for the ELITE fourth season because of the possible storylines and unfinished storylines from season three. But, This season has absolutely nothing, they tried something with Mencia and Philippe’s storylines, but the rest of it was so flat and just feels like a stupid drama at this point.

Elite Season 4 Plot

Just like the previous three seasons, The ELITE season 4 also deals with a new mystery. The school has brought a new principal as they thought that the students were running amuck. And that the school was in chaos and shambles. And I won’t deny that. He brings his three children Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, Manu Rios alongside him. They get everything they want. And they will do anything to get what they want no matter what the consequences are.

First of all, the main thing that really disappointed me was how fewer the OG members of the show were featured in this new season. Yes, I know that they have to progress the story, and  Guzmán, Samu, Ander, Omar, and Rebe were ready to attend their senior year. But they could have done something to keep them around. Take CW’s Riverdale for example. The show took a time skip and showed the main characters in their adult life. The ELITE season 4 would have benefitted from that. Because fans really loved the main cast of the first three seasons. And no matter how good your storyline or plot is(which wasn’t the case). if you do not give fans what they want, they will dislike the show.

Elite Season 4: Cast

I wasn’t invested in any new characters that much. Maybe it was because I wanted the original cast. But it was also because the new characters had nothing. No special trait that defined them or anything like that worth investing. It was a pretty dull affair.

The OGs were as good as always. And I enjoyed the limited time they got on the screen. I just wished they had more time. Other than that I really liked Carla Diaz. And she did it pretty decently. You could have seen the fear in her eyes throughout the ELITE fourth season. Other than that, I didn’t found any performance that good.

Elite Season 4: Direction

It is just like the all the previous seasons of The ELITE. It will give into a more noir way of direction. The aesthetic way of directing really suits the series. There was nothing that much special other than the final scene.

Elite Season 4: Is It Worth It?

If you have watched the first three seasons, you will surely watch them. But, if you want to avoid it, you should. You will miss nothing. I think that they should have ended it in the third season only. Because ELITE season 4 had No good plot lines, they just threw in the almost murder part of Ari. The fourth season was just a bunch of sex scenes and cheating to a point that I think I skipped through most of the episodes cause there just wasn’t anything interesting.

Because I am not too excited for the fifth season if it comes. But, if season 5 happens I do hope they pull out something good this time.
