1. Inception

Dominic Cobb is a spy who, rather than breaking into someone’s house, office, or even computer, obtains the information he requires by entering their mind through dreams. Cobb is also a wanted man who misses his kids. Someone approaches Cobb and offers him a job. But instead of providing information, the man wants Cobb to implant something, a process known as “inception”. It is difficult to accomplish. Cobb is hesitant to do it but agrees when the man offers to assist Cobb in returning to his children. So he gathers his team, but soon after they start, they discover things Cobb didn’t tell them about that could damage the mission. Now they’re unsure if they should continue.

2. The Shining

Jack Torrance, a novelist, is interviewed for the position of winter caretaker at the remote, historic, massive, and gorgeous Overlook Hotel. Jack is accompanied by his wife Wendy and their son Danny. Danny, as so happens, possesses a mysterious ability known as “The Shining.” On their first day at the Overlook, Danny meets Hallorann, the hotel cook, who warns him about the hotel and the terrifying Room 237. Danny begins to see visions as the days pass, and Jack begins to spiral into insanity, becoming increasingly hostile, to the point that Danny and Wendy believe Jack is planning something horrible.

Troubled US Marshal Teddy Daniels and his new partner, Chuck Aule, head to Ashecliffe Hospital, Shutter Island’s fortress asylum for the criminally ill. They go to investigate the inexplicable disappearance of a demented child murderer. Soon, inexplicable nuances of medical negligence appear behind the gloomy purgatory’s thick stone walls. It is implying that the institution’s cryptic top psychiatrists must be concealing something. Then, in the dark off-shore prison, a violent storm trapped patients and investigators alike, triggering Teddy’s severe headaches and grisly recollections from the past.

Leonard is an insurance investigator. His memory has been impaired as a result of a head injury he got while intervening in the death of his wife. In that, he compares his current situation to that of a customer whose claim he once handled.
