Money Heist Netflix Review, With Season 5 right around the corner, it is the right time to look back at the series.
Money Heist Netflix Review, Money Heist Season 5 will be released in September and December of 2021 in two halves. And we hope that it is the final season of the show. Because, no matter how good Money Heist is in general, it has fallen down in recent seasons. The first two seasons of Netflix Money Heist were pure gold, and you could watch them again and again. The cliffhangers and general allure of a heist story will keep you interested throughout the first two seasons. But, it dropped down in the third and fourth season massively.
Money Heist Netflix Review

What started as an amazing idea with intriguing characters and an elaborate plot became a dragged-down show so quickly. It was apparent at the end of the second season that the show had to end there. It was the perfect ending for the Netflix Money Heist series. But, after looking at the reactions Money Heist Netflix got, Netflix decided to continue the series and that’s where they went wrong. While the third season was like a remake of the first season, Season 4 felt like a soap opera. It was like a drama show and felt like a filler season. You can see that makers only made season 4 so that they can hype up the fifth season to increase the viewers. There was no plot, no action and I was bored by the end of the third episode that I stopped watching it.
Netflix Money Heist: Positives
Now, no matter how bad the last season was, there are still so many good things about the show that can’t be ignored. These things made the show so much better than it actually was.
The First Two Seasons
No matter what you say, the first two seasons of Netflix Money Heist were some of the best TV show ever. People loved the original seasons so much, that they were even comparing it to Breaking Bad. Now, I won’t go as far as that, but it was really good. The original story was amazing. It had proper build-up, amazing plot throughout, the character development of some characters was top-notch, and the cliffhangers always hit the right spot. I still remember that I completed the first two seasons of Netflix Money Heist in just two days. As I was completely hooked on the series. And more importantly, the ending of the second season was satisfactory and made complete sense.
Characters
As I said, Netflix Money Heist had a bunch of intriguing characters. And those characters made the show so much better than it actually was. Characters like Professor, Nairobi, Monica, Berlin, and many more instantly became fan favorites. And there were some characters that you really liked to hate with all your heart. Arturo is the prime example of that. The character arcs of characters like Rio and Tokyo were amazing and it meant something. And when the character died you felt it in your heart. It was a heavy feeling when Moscow died, and don’t get me wrong on Nairobi’s death. I am still not over it.
Music
I don’t think I have to say much about the music of the series. The title song of the series “Bella Ciao” was a fan favorite. It was on top of Spotify charts for weeks and weeks. And that is just the tip of it. Even the background music of the series was amazing. It increased the tension of the show and scenes without ruining my experience of the show. And that is the best compliment I can give to the music of the series.
Netflix Money Heist: Negatives
Season 3 And 4
As I said, the first two seasons of Netflix Money Heist were so good, the final two seasons were just as bad. While the third season was like a remake of the first season, Season 4 felt like a soap opera. It was like a drama show and felt like a filler season. You can see that makers only made season 4 so that they can hype up the fifth season to increase the viewers. And I really hope that Netflix Money Heist finds its feet back in the fifth season and hopefully it will be the final season. Because, no matter how good a show is, you have to end it somewhere.
Fandom
Fandom plays an important part in the show no matter what you say. And Netflix Money Heist fandom has grown so much over the years that it has become downright toxic in some areas. Obviously, not every fan is like that, but because of some fans, the show now feels overrated. And that is never a good sign for the show and it completely kills all the good things about the show.
Netflix Money Heist: Is It Worth It?
I will say, YES! You should definitely watch the first two seasons of Netflix Money Heist at any cost. Because those are the best two seasons you will ever watch. It will keep you entertained, will make you emotional and excited and you will feel exactly what makers wanted you to feel. I don’t know about the third and fourth season though. You can watch it if you want to, but if you want to skip those, you will not miss something major.
