One Of The Biggest Cast Has Been Assembled!
Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the best actors the world has ever seen and Jennifer Lawrence is just a goddess. So, when I heard that they are coming together for a movie I was really excited about it. And the thing is that the cast doesn’t involve only these two big names. There are so many other big artists that will be in the movie. And now, Netflix has announced the release date for Don’t Look Up. Along with the announcement they also release some photos which show Leonardo and Jennifer in new looks. So, let’s take a look at everything we know about the movie as of now.
Don’t Look Up Plot
The official synopsis of the movie reads “The story of two low-level astronomers, who must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet earth.”
The movie will follow Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, two low-level astronomers, who will go on a world tour and will try and warn everyone that a comet is on the way to destroy Earth.
We don’t have any other information regarding the movie as of yet. Director Adam McKay said that this movie is based on how our world is so slow to adapt to things. And will mainly focus on Climate Change and the inability of people to adapt. He stated in an interview that pandemic has changed the focus of the movie.
“That is kind of how it started. But then the pandemic hit. What that did was bring out what the movie is really about, which is how we communicate with each other. We can’t even talk to each other anymore. We can’t even agree. So it’s about climate change, but at its root it’s about what has the internet, what have cellphones, what has the modern world done to the way we communicate.”
Don’t Look Up Release Date
The movie is all set to release on December 24, 2021. And it will release on Netflix exclusively. The movie is said to be 2 hours and 21 minutes long.

The movie will be directed by Adam McKay and he has directed some amazing movies like Vice in the past. So, I am expecting some big things here.
Don’t Look Up: What To Expect?
As I have seen the photos and read the plot, it is giving me more and more Arrival vibes. Don’t Look Up movie starring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. It will be a slow movie like that only and will give you a lot to think about. I will be able to tell you more once the trailer gets released, which should not be that far away now.
