James Gunn is teasing fans with new details every now and then for his upcoming movie. As the release date is getting closer, Director James Gunn is increasing the excitement of the fans little by little. The new sneak peek showed Idris Alba, Peter Capaldi, and David Dastmalchian in an undercover role. Probably learning about their new enemy.
I have a feeling that the sneak peek scene is going to be a fun dancing moment where everyone will feel good from the inside. And the next scene after that will be action packed. It just my theory, but let’s see what is really in store.
The Suicide Squad Plot
The movie’s official synopsis reads “Supervillains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of nutty cons at Belle Reve prison join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X as they are dropped off at the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.”
The movie will continue after the events of the first movie. Amanda Waller will once again set up a crew to fight a bigger threat. Just this time the threat will be bigger and the squad will be even bigger. So be ready for lots and lots of actions with some really good goofy stuff. The main thing is that people are not even excited about the action and plot as much as they are excited about the cast of the movie.
The new teaser released by James Gunn on his Instagram revealed the main antagonist of the movie. The trailer revealed that Starro will be a villain in the movie. But the new spot revealed Melchior’s Ratcatcher II as the mastermind behind Starro.
The Suicide Squad Release Date
The revamped Suicide Squad is all set to release on August 6, 2021. The movie will release in theaters and also on HBO Max. The movie will be almost 2 hours long just like all the James Gunn movies. For fans that don’t have access to HBO Max, other platforms like BookMyShow, Google Play, and other platforms will stream the movie for them. You can buy the movie there and enjoy it. I will advise you to watch it on the biggest screen of all because it will be worth it.
The Suicide Squad’ Cast
Now let’s talk about the main attraction of the movie. Their cast will convince so many fans to come to the halls. Right of the bat, Margot Robbie will reprise her role as Harley Quinn. And after seeing her past performance in this avatar, it is certain that she will be amazing. Joel Kinnaman will also return as Rick Flag and Jai Courtney will return as Captain Boomerang. Other casts include Sylvester Stallone as King Shark, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Michael Rooker as Savant, Alice Braga as SolSoria, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Nathan Fillion as T.D.K, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Sean Gunn as Weasel, Mayling Ng as Mongal and Peter Capaldi as Thinker.

The movie is being directed and written by James Gunn. Nikolas Korda and Charles Roven are producing the movie. John Murphy is handling the music and I am looking forward to it. You can be sure about DCEU movies because the music will be godly, and I hope this will be the same case with ‘The Suicide Squad’.
The Suicide Squad What to Expect
Expect some of the biggest action scenes you have ever seen. The movie will be filled with those. There will be a comedy and some really good VFX. You can be sure about the music to be a banger. I am really excited about the movie. If it can completely erase all my memories of the first part it will be a job well done. James Gunn is known for his hopeful and ambitious movie and I hope ‘The Suicide Squad’ turns out to be just that.
This movie will also embark on a new journey in DCEU without Zack Snyder. Ann Sarnoff’s decision stated that they will not continue Snyderverse and this movie will show their new approach towards the audience. So, it is a decider movie for DCEU in all aspects.
