Then, in “Program,” a competent warrior wrestles with the thought of abandoning the fight against the robots. In “A Detective Story,” a secret customer engages Ash. A tenacious private eye who resembles Sam Spade, to find Trinity, a computer hacker. The following chapter, titled “Matriculated,” follows Resistance fighter Alexa and her rebels as they set out on a task that seems almost insurmountable. 4. The Matrix Revolutions (2003)
