Hailee Steinfield and Jeremy Renner shine in the latest trailer.

So, after a very long time, Marvel finally released the first official trailer of their upcoming show Hawkeye. And it looks really good and I am not even kidding.

I know I say that for every big trailer or teaser but they are all just good. No matter what the actual movie or show turns out to be. The trailer really sells them for me.

Now coming back to the topic, Hawkeye has been one of the fan favorites in the MCU saga. And top of he is really underrated as well. He was always loved by fans but never so much that they made an actual series or movie about him.

And it really looks like Marvel is trying to change their policy and give the actual die-hard fans what they really want. And I am all here for that. It is an exciting timeline in the Marvel universe.

Just like Black Widow, Hawkeye should have also gotten his standalone movie or series way back. But beggars can’t be choosers, right? We will take everything that we will get.

Hawkeye Trailer, Release Date, Plot and Other Details

Hawkeye Plot

The official synopsis of the series reads “Series based on the Marvel Comics superhero Hawkeye, centering on the adventures of Young Avenger, Kate M. Bishop, who took on the role after the original Avenger, Clint Barton.”

The thing is we actually don’t know what the story will exactly be about. It is like we have the idea of what it will cover but in the contrast, we don’t know exactly what it will be about.

It will introduce Kate Bishop to us. Kate Bishop will take the mantle of Hawkeye after Clint Barton.

Hawkeye’s story will be based on the time when he was hiding after his family was wiped by Thanos. He took the title of Ronin and was a vigilante for a while. Now in the present, someone else is Ronis and she is after Clint with all her might.

Another thing that will happen is that Yelena might appear in this season. We know that she is going to be in Hawkeye acting like one of the antagonists. But we don’t actually know in which season she will appear.

Hawkeye Trailer

There were lots of things happening in the trailer. But there were three things that took my attention. And we will talk about that.

The Trailer Looked Beautiful

I am not a big fan of how Marvel movies and shows actually look and feel. There is always some kind of disconnection between the look of the series or movie and the vibe of the scene.

But credit where it’s due, Marvel has been pulling out some really good-looking series and movies in phase 4. First, it was Loki then it was Sahng-Chi, which might be the best-looking movie in MCU.

And now the Hawkeye trailer also looked really good. And I am really surprised by it. I will talk about it later when the show will come out, but it’s looking really great right now.

Action

I will always take hand-to-hand combat action over any other type of action. And this show is filled with that only. We saw so many shots with both Clint and Kate engaging in hand-to-hand combat. And I am really excited about it.

No Yelena

The biggest shock to me was that there was no Yelena in the trailer. Because we know that she is going to be in the show, I was expecting her to be here. But there was no sign of her.

And that is why I am doubtful whether she will be in the first season or not. Maybe she might appear in the second trailer or they might keep it surprise. We will never know until the show comes out.

Hawkeye: Release Date

The show is all set to release on November 24, 2021. It was set to release in December but it got an early release date and I am not complaining about it.

Hawkeye will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. This season will consist of 8 episodes only. Just like the previous Marvel shows and I think that is for the best.
