Flint Lockwood is a genius in his own eyes. However, none of his inventions make sense or are practical. He does have his mother’s support, but after she passes away, he is left alone with his father, who believes he should quit up. Flint decides to try his latest invention, a machine that can turn water into food, when his community suffers from an economic crisis as a result of the closure of their principal source of income, a sardine cannery. However, something goes awry, and the machine floats away into space. Food begins to fall from the sky later. The shady mayor wants to exploit this to aid their community, but when Flint detects a problem with the machine, the mayor persuades him to disregard it. However, turmoil ensues, just as Flint predicted.

4. Minions (2015)

The small banana-yellow beings known only as the “Minions” live only to serve the most wicked ruler they could lay their hands on, from noisy and massive T-Rexes to muscular and hairy cavemen, and from pompous pharaohs to even the great Napoleon himself. 6. Monsters, Inc. (2001)

Monsters rule the world behind our closed closet doors. Monsters Inc. is a utilities corporation that specialised in supplying their world with human children’s cries. Sulley and his wisecracking best friend Mike lead a crew of monster scarers that work long and hard hours to keep the screams coming.
