Flint Lockwood is a genius in his own eyes. However, none of his inventions make sense or are practical. He does have his mother’s support, but after she passes away, he is left alone with his father, who believes he should quit up. Flint decides to try his latest invention, a machine that can turn water into food, when his community suffers from an economic crisis as a result of the closure of their principal source of income, a sardine cannery. However, something goes awry, and the machine floats away into space. Food begins to fall from the sky later. The shady mayor wants to exploit this to aid their community, but when Flint detects a problem with the machine, the mayor persuades him to disregard it. However, turmoil ensues, just as Flint predicted.
4. Minions (2015)

The small banana-yellow beings known only as the “Minions” live only to serve the most wicked ruler they could lay their hands on, from noisy and massive T-Rexes to muscular and hairy cavemen, and from pompous pharaohs to even the great Napoleon himself. After a long line of ill-served masters, the well-intentioned but absolutely useless individuals will find themselves without a purpose, as an entire headless tribe must put their hopes on three small minions, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, to uncover the most terrible evil lord. Scarlet Overkill, the iconic international villain and the first woman in the trade, is said to be the one they’ve been hunting for.
5. Megamind (2010)

Megamind is the least successful supervillain in history, despite being the most clever. Megamind is more startled than anyone when he finally defeats his long-time foe after being thwarted by valiant Metro Man on numerous occasions. Megamind, however, lacks a purpose in life without Metro Man, so he creates a new foe who quickly finds that being a bad guy is more fun than being a hero.
6. Monsters, Inc. (2001)

Monsters rule the world behind our closed closet doors. Monsters Inc. is a utilities corporation that specialised in supplying their world with human children’s cries. Sulley and his wisecracking best friend Mike lead a crew of monster scarers that work long and hard hours to keep the screams coming. However, things get out of hand when Sulley discovers a secret entrance and a runaway little girl. Sulley and Mike, on the other hand, learn that the little girl is not genuinely dangerous, and they must return her to the human world. But what the two don’t realise is that Boo is the key to a diabolical plot to save the monster world from impending disaster.
7. Kung Fu Panda (2008)

Po, a clumsy, overweight panda, works at his father’s Valley of Peace noodle restaurant. Po, a kung fu enthusiast, attends the selection of the Dragon Warrior, the kingdom’s champion fighter.
