Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers

June 21, 2021

Dark Skies: If you can get being the premise of ‘The Skies’, this is a solid horror movie that will entertain you throughout. It features aliens instead of ghost, so it might be a little unorthodox for you. But believe me, this might be the perfect horror watch for you of this month. And another good thing is that it doesn’t involve any unnecessary gore. It is so easy to watch and get behind.

The Secret Life Of Pets 2: The first part was really amazing. Second part might not have been par with that, but it is still an entertaining watch. It is a perfect kid watch and you should watch it with your family before it leaves the Netflix permanently.

Bratz: The Movie

Back To The Future trilogy

I mean, it is a classic for a reason, isn’t it? It is regarded as the best trilogy series ever by many fans. Back To The Future set a bar for all the upcoming time travel movies and honestly, very few have touched that. Netflix had the whole trilogy with them and now that it is leaving it is a sad moment. So, before it permanently leaves Netflix, you should go and give it a watch. You won’t regret it if you are a science fiction fan.

Bonnie And Clyde

An important piece of cinema that is a kind of a catalyst for many of the modern romantic movies. It helped American cinema catch up to the sexuality and sensualized violence of European films. And even if we ignore the importance of Bonnie and Clyde on the Hollywood industry, it is still a good watch. More importantly, it still holds up. And if you still don’t have any motivation to watch this, just watch it for Faye Dunaway’s performance. She really stole the show here with her acting.

Crazy, Stupid, Love

So, you have got Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julian Moore, and Emma Stone in the same movie. What else do you need? This cast is enough to make anyone attracted to this movie and it stands up to the hype. The last thirty minutes of this movie is just a circus. A good circus that you all will enjoy. So, watch this movie before it leaves Netflix permanently.

Immortals

Henry Cavill is fighting against gods in this movie. This movie could have been so good if cinematography didn’t try so hard to be creative and inventive. They tried so hard to make this movie aesthetic and visually pleasing that it really backfired on him. Don’t get me wrong, some of the scenes were actually beautiful and I can watch them again and again. It had so many flaws, yet it is a good watch that will entertain you nicely.

Scarface

If you are a fan of cinema, there is no way you haven’t heard of Scarface. I have watched this movie countless time and it really saddened me that this movie is leaving Netflix. De Palma is a directing genius and I am grateful to him because he gave us this gem. I will surely give this movie another watch before June 30 and you all should also.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

David Fincher has a taste of adapting unique novels that are really hard to adapt. Be it The Gone Girl or this one. After the first few minutes of the movie, you will get hooked on it. Fincher usually has a habit of ruining the movie with its climax, but he handled it so well in this movie. You might prefer the book over the movie, but let me ask you, does your book have Daniel Craig? My point exactly!

The Twilight Zone (Original Series): Seasons 1-5

If you haven’t heard about ‘The Twilight Zone it means you are new to the horror genre. Each episode tells a different tale that is downright creepy, philosophical, funny, disturbing, scary, and surprisingly relevant. You have to do yourself a favor and watch this. Because this is the best that mainstream horror can get.

Training Day

Absolute baller of a movie. Denzel is such a good bad guy here. I never thought I would see him ever in such a role. All the characters and story of this movie are so good. Just watch it laid back on your sofa and enjoy the two hours. It is that kind of a movie.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

It is the best comedy animated movie I have ever watched. The sheer amount of jokes in this movie is mad. I know a few of them to miss, but the one who hits will make you laugh so hard that you won’t be able to control it. And the best thing is that you can watch both parts because both of them are good.
