Enola Holmes 2, Henry Cavill, and Millie Bobby Brown return to the Holmes family once again.
Happy days for all the Enola Holmes fan out there. Netflix and the actors have just confirmed the sequel of the movie. And all of your favorite actors are returning for it. And surprisingly it broke many records. Now, I don’t know about you, but that is good business for any movie. So, it was obvious that Netflix will definitely make a sequel, and finally, they are doing it. Although, not even a year has passed since the release of Enola Holmes on Netflix. But these two years have been quite long for everyone. So, it is a piece of good news we are getting this project so soon.
But now the actors themselves have confirmed it alongside the production house. And Both Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will return as Holmes siblings in the sequel. Another interesting or good news is that the movie is already in pre-production. So, we might get it really soon. It is an amazing feat, especially at this time. But, now it looks like Hollywood is finding its feet again. And I am all in for that.
Enola Holmes 2 Plot
The movie is based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer. It focuses on the character of Enola Holmes who is the sister of Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes, as everyone knows, is the world’s greatest detective. But, her sister might be even more bright than him. And the story revolves around it. In the first part, Enola goes on an adventure to find his missing brother. But on the journey she finds herself. The first part was absolutely charming with lots of amazing scenes. The character arc of Anola was brilliant and the sequel is the perfect time to capitalize on that. It won’t be wrong to say that it was one of the best Netflix movies in 2020.
But out of all six novels based on Enola Holmes, the first part adapted the first novel. So, everyone expects the sequel to be based on the second part. It also opens the door and focuses that we might get six Enola Holmes movie like a franchise. And I will be a happy lad if it happens. And when you have this strong story, received this strongly by fans, you have no reason not to do so.
Release Date
As of now, nothing has been announced regarding the release date. Even the production hasn’t begun yet. We expect the shooting to start by July 2021. So, you can expect Enola Holmes 2 to release in early 2022, just like the first part. It will release on Netflix only without any regional boundaries. So, you can enjoy it from anywhere in the world.

Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill. Millie Bobby Brown was amazing in the first part. Her energy carried the movie throughout and kept it interesting. Even when the plot or pace of the movie was stumbling a little bit, she kept it going. So, let’s expect another brilliant performance by her. We know how talented an actor he really is. He can take any role and knock it out of the park. We can expect an increased role in the sequel. We will update you more about the cast as soon as we get some information.
Jack Thorne and Harry Bradbeer will return as the writer and director for the sequel. And once again Legendary Pictures alongside Netflix will produce this.
