Dragon Ball Super Movie Release Date, Preview, and Other Details: It looks like Toei Animation really wants to capitalize on this new anime popularity. After the success of Dragon Ball: Broly back in 2018 and the new Demon Slayer movie ruling the box office even now, Toei Animation announced a new Dragon Ball movie. The announcement came on Goku Day, which is a big day for Dragon Ball fans. He has also teased some really interesting facts about the movie that we will get into.
Dragon Ball Super announcement obviously came after the success of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train at the box office. The success of recent anime releases has tempted Toei animation to release one more movie. Dragon Ball still remains one of the most successful anime ever. Toei Animation has been producing Dragon Ball anime for almost 40 years now. And it is still as popular as ever. The new movie announcement definitely excites the fans as they will see the return of Goku after almost 2 years now.

Akira Toriyama tweeted that “An all-new movie since ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ is currently in the making! Just like the previous movie, I’m heavily leading the story and dialogue production for another amazing film. We’ll be charting through some unexplored territory in terms of the visual aesthetics to give the audience an amazing ride, so I hope everybody will look forward to the new movie!”
So, we don’t know much about the plot as of now. But one thing we know is that it will be a continuation of anime. This movie was released in 2015, it was a sequel to Z anime. Majin Buu saga is still one of my favorites but we are not discussing that here. And even the tournament of power was a huge success. One thing for sure is that the movie will be interesting no matter what.
Release Date
The movie hasn’t even begun production as of yet. But many reports have stated that the movie will release sometime in 2022. We are guessing that the movie will release in late 2022. So the expected release date might be between September to November.
