The year 2022 has seen a lot of brand-new instalments in established film franchises. Recently, series have advanced thanks to movies like The Batman and Scream, while others have been reinvigorated by Jurassic World: Dominion and Thor: Love and Thunder. With so many new sequels and reboots hitting the big and small screens, Ranker users can vote on movies in a variety of categories, and voters have already expressed their views.

1. Scream

A cute teenage girl is alone at home when the phone rings, just like in the original movie from 25 years ago. A man desires to engage her in a game. Tara is compelled to comply because her best friend is in danger of being killed. She barely makes it through the intruder’s stabbing with a ghost face mask. Sam, who is five years Tara’s senior and left the family at age 18 owing to mental health issues, Tara’s high school pals, and Sam’s boyfriend all pay her visits in the hospital.

Later, a man annoys his buddies in a bar and is then attacked by Ghostface outside in the parking lot. He calls Sam from the hospital, and he subsequently tries to attack her without success. Later, she tells her sister about family secrets. Sam seeks assistance from one of the first victims, Dewey. Gale Weathers and Sidney Prescott, two more of the initial victims, are forewarned of Ghostface’s impending return.

2. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Madness

9. Hollywood Stargirl

In the opening scene of “Hollywood Stargirl,” Susan “Stargirl” Caraway and her mother Ana go to Los Angeles. They talk during the transfer, and Stargirl says she wishes she had a more permanent home. As a frequent mover due to her employment as a movie costume designer, Ana explains to Stargirl that this is the only way she is able to care for her pets. They would have to spend a full year in one location, but Ana reassures Stargirl that she could finish her senior year in Los Angeles. The landlady, Daphne, who lives just across the street with her husband and their two sons, Terrell and Evan, is introduced to them as they settle into their California apartment.

Stargirl is ecstatic about her life in a new area as Daphne chats with Ana and reveals that her sons are making a movie. Stargirl comes up with new activities and pastimes to keep herself occupied as Ana works long hours and is unable to spend time with her kid.

10. The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild

The adventure-seeking possum brothers Crash and Eddie set out to find a haven of their own, desperate for some apart from their older sister Ellie, but soon discovered themselves stranded in a vast underground cave.
