Amazon Renews Invincible Season 2 and 3 Release Date, Cast, and Other Details: has renewed for two more seasons. But, getting an official announcement always feels nice. The first season of Invincible was released in March of 2021 only. And already it is one of the most sought-out series. Invincible has increased the Prime videos buy-rate massively. So, it was just a matter of time before we would have gotten the announcement. Actually, the announcement came right before the finale of season 1. Which was April 30, 2021. Now, this is proof enough of how popular the show has become.

Amazon Renews Invincible

Invincible is an adult animated series based on Skybound comic about a teenager whose father is the most powerful superhero. Fans loved the show so much that they were demanding season 2 right from the start. Amazon Prime Invincible has 8.9 ratings on IMDB and a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. now, I don’t know about you, but these are some high ratings in my books. The announcement was made by Robert Kirkman on his Twitter account alongside Steven Yeun. Kirkman said, “I’m extremely thankful to Amazon Renews Invincible for the support and dedication they’ve put behind Invincible”.

Invincible Plot

As I mentioned earlier, Amazon Renews Invincible is based on Skybound/Image comic. It tells a story about a seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson. Mark’s father is the most powerful man in the world. As Mark is developing his powers and following his father’s path. He learns some dark truth about his legacy. He realizes that his father is not the superhero he claims to be. Mark’s whole world shifts and he decides to put a stop on him. But it’s not easy, after all, Omni-Man is the strongest person in the world.

We won’t go into details as it might be a spoiler for anyone who hasn’t watched it. The second season might be darker and more brutal than the first one. So, I am so excited about it now.

Not going to lie, but this is one of the most bizarre and interesting superhero shows I have ever watched. Netflix is going to bring out a similar kind of show in ‘Jupiter’s Legacy and Invincible has increased my hype for it. The dynamic this show presents is something so trivial yet so attention-grabbing. Maybe that is what every superhero show needs to be. Instead of force-feeding us a storyline and inserting unnecessary humor. Just present your story in a simple and good way.

Invincible Season 2 Release Date

As of now, the release date is not revealed at the moment. Leave release date, we haven’t even got the production starting date yet. There have been rumors that the production will start by the end of the year and we will get the second season earlier next year. Both seasons might get released next year only. We will update you as soon as something is announced. So, keep following Reelsrated for the more latest news.

Both upcoming seasons of Invincible will have the same runtime as the first season. So, it will make it a perfect binge-worthy show again. And if the storyline is even half as intriguing as the first season we are in for a treat.

Invincible Season 2 Cast

The second season will probably have the same cast as the first season. Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson, Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man, Zazie Beetz as Amber Bennett, Grey Griffin as Monster Girl, Kevin Michael Richardson as Mauler Twins, and Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman. You can read the full cast list at IMDB or Amazon Prime’s official website.

Jeff Allen and Robert Valley will most probably direct the show again. Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley, and Cory Walker will work on the script. David Alpert, Robert Kirkman, and Seth Rogen will produce the series.

Season 2: What To Expect?

Vernon Sanders, Co-Head of Television at Amazon Studios said in an interview. “Invincible is a crowning example of how a fresh and edgy approach to the superhero genre can resonate with audiences around the globe and we’re so glad that Invincible, one of our earliest investments in the adult animation genre, has accomplished just that.” And I agree with that. Shows like ‘The Boys’, ‘Jupiter’s Legacy‘ and now Invincible are prime examples of what Superhero shows can be if they tried. And I am loving this golden age of superhero.
