All The Confirmed Upcoming Superhero Movies

Black Widow

Marvel has entered into phase 4 but Black Widow is an exception to it. The movie will focus on Natasha Romanoff’s origin story. How she became Black Widow, one of the most beloved superheroes in MCU. The movie is all set to have a theatrical release as well as an OTT Platform release. Black Widow will release on July 9, 2021, and will have almost a 2-hour runtime. The movie’s production is going to end really soon.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage

The trailer was just released and honestly, it looked so much better than the last one. It will feature one of the greatest rivalry in comic books ever. Venom against Carnage. The movie will release on June 25, 2021, and I am excited for it.

The Suicide Squad

One of the only few movies that still has my interest after Snyder Cut. James Gunn described The Suicide Squad as even bigger than his Guardians Of Galaxy. Now, I don’t know about you, but I am very excited about the movie. You are familiar with the premise after the first movie. This part will feature the same villains with some additional villains and with some additional action. It is obviously going to be a beautiful movie. The movie is all scheduled to release on August 6, 2021.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Now, this movie will officially kickstart the Marvel Phase 4. It is Marvel’s first movie with an Asian lead superhero. So, it will be a good thing to see some more diversity in the franchise. The movie will feature Mandarin as the villain. The movie is all set to release on September 3, 2021, and the trailer looked awesome.

Not many details have been released about this movie, but it is looking really solid. It is one of those projects that might surprise everyone. Another thing working in the favor of this movie is Chloe Zhao is directing the movie. The movie is all set to release on November 5, 2021, but I honestly think it can be delayed.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Two new behind-the-scenes photos have been released and now I am honestly excited for the movie. Spider-Man: No Way Home will mark the entry of the multiverse in the Marvel universe. How are you not excited about it? Spider-Man: No Way Home will release on December 17, 2021.

Jared Leto is entering Marvel universe now. Sony will produce the movie and it will be there third Marvel title. The movie will release on January 28, 2022 and honestly not many things have been revealed regarding it. We will have to see it once it comes out.

The Batman Movies

My personal favorite as Batman is my favorite Superhero Movies. It has the potential to become the best comic book movie ever. Robert Pattinson will take the role of Caped Crusader and fans are loving his look. The movie will release on March 4, 2022.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Derrickson has described it as MCU’s first horror movie. And if that doesn’t intrigue you I don’t know what will. It will also feature Scarlett Witch or Wanda, so there will be no shortage of magic in the movie. The scheduled release date for the movie is March 25, 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Have you seen the leaked photos from the set of the movie? Natalie Portman looks so jacked and my Thor is back in shape now. Now, if we can just get Thor wrecking machine instead of the sack of ball we got in Endgame. The movie is scheduled to release on May 6, 2022.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther will be a tough watch. Obviously because of Chadwick Boseman. Everyone will feel his absence on the big screen. But that will make the story of Sheri all the more rewarding. Kevin Feige revealed that the role of T’Challa will not be recast. And we might see Sheri taking over Wakanda in absence of her brother. The writers are working on the script all over again. But, if Sheri’s storyline is true, I can see people balling their eyes out in the theaters. July 8, 2022, is the scheduled release date, but it can very well be delayed further.

Black Adam

Dwayne Johnson made the statement that Black Adam will change the hierarchy in DCEU. And I hope it does. But in typical WB fashion, they changed the plans later. Now, we will get Black Adam’s movie and possibly him fighting Shazam in future projects. Black Adam will introduce Justice Society Of America and characters like Atom Smasher, Dr. Fate, Hawkman, and Cyclone. The shooting of Black Adam has finally started and the scheduled release date is July 29, 2022.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Sequel

The first part was amazing and I am excited for the second part. And if we can get another Oscar nomination worthy movie like the first part I am all in. The movie will release on October 7, 2022.

The Flash

This movie is picking up ‘The Flashpoint Paradox’ storyline from comics. And if you guys haven’t heard of that, you should really reconsider it. Go and read it, and if you don’t want to be spoiled, just sit back and wait for it. Because it is going to be a masterpiece. The Flash suit looks awesome. And Ben Affleck has signed up for the movie. But the departure of Ray Fisher is heartbreaking. The Flash will also introduce Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Whether the movie will be dark or light and funny, we will have to wait for that. But one thing for sure, if WB doesn’t ruin it, It will a must-watch.

The Marvels

The sequel of Captain Marvel will be titled The Marvels. The sequel has lots to cover up because the first part was kind of underwhelming. Brie Larson will return as Captain Marvel. And Iman Vellani, who will play Captain Marvel in Hotstar’s original series, will have a guest appearance in this movie. It is shouting Multiverse in capital letter. But, we will see what actually happens when the movie will be out. The movie is scheduled to release on November 11, 2022.

Aquaman 2

Aquaman released way back in 2018 and it is still the highest-grossing DCEU movie. So, obviously, WB wanted to make a sequel on the spot. The production house has given them almost 2 years to develop a movie that will do a similar kind of business. The scheduled release date as of yet is December 16, 2022. But it can be delayed depending on how the state of completion of the movie.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Honestly, I am happy to see Paul Rudd return. He is the best, yes he is. Both Antman movies have been good and I am pretty sure this will kick all the asses too. I mean it has Paul Rudd in it. What else do you need? Kathryn Newton has joined the movie as Cassie and it will have Kang the Conqueror as the villain. The movie is scheduled to release on February 17, 2023.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

The unfits will be back really soon on the biggest screen. The movie was supposed to release next year but has been delayed massively. And yes it is because of the Coronavirus pandemic only. James Gunn will return as the director after Suicide Squad as he was re-hired after being fired over a joke. There are strong chances that Thor will appear in the movie too. May 25, 2023, is the new release date of the movie.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Shazam was a decent Superhero Movies. And in DC Fandom David F. Sandberg revealed that they are in talks over the sequel of the movie. All of the original staff is set to return without any major controversy and that is something new. The movie was supposed to start shooting by now and was supposed to release in April 2022. The new scheduled release date is June 2, 2023.

These are all the Superhero movies that will be released till 2023. There are other projects too but their release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. So, we hope this list is helpful for you.
