Since the dawn of cinema, Hollywood companies have consistently produced adventure films. Adventure movie makers include Ridley Scott, David Lean, Robert Zemeckis, Howard Hawks, and David Lean to mention a few. Such movies are frequently based on actual events. These movies allow the filmmakers a chance to explore the outdoors, which results in excellent imagery. Filmmakers enjoy leaving the comfort of the studio and placing their camera in remote locations to capture the untamed, mesmerising beauty of nature. Outside of civilization, man is most violent. The murkiness of the human heart is at play here.

The A24 movie Everything Everywhere All at Once, which was released this year, plunged spectators into its own special interpretation of the multiverse. On Letterboxd, users have voted Evelyn’s perplexing voyage as the year’s top adventure film because it has captured their attention. So, fasten your seatbelts and scroll down to see our list of some of the best adventure films produced in Hollywood in the last ten years, as determined by Letterboxd.
