A Quiet Place Part II, We will get more of A Quiet Place and I am all in for that.

A Quiet Place Part II, Collider reported that they conducted an interview with Emily Blunt in March 2020. During the official screening of A Quiet Place 2. The movie was delayed due to the pandemic of course. But now that it is all set to release in theaters in few days, they decided to reveal the details in the interview. And it was an interesting read.

A Quiet Place Part II

A Quiet Place Part II

During the interview, Emily Blunt told me why she loves the sequel so much. And how the expectations from the fans drove her so much. She also revealed that it is one of the hardest shoots she has ever done. And when a star like Emily says so, you know how demanding the role really is. She told that people will wonder about a third part when the second part will end. And John is thinking about it. “He has a whole arc of ideas that could work. I think he just wanted to see how people responded to this one before he fully engaged his brain on the third one. But he has a couple of great ideas.”

A Quiet Place Part II Plot

The official synopsis reads “Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”

The sequel will continue right from where the first part ended. Now, Emily Blunt alongside her two kids has to fight for their survival. But she will realize that the monsters are not the only threat and they are not the only alive humans. She will find some new humans to help them from this crisis. And those will help them save her too. That is where Cillian Murphy and  Djimon Hounsou will come in. All of them will try to kill these creatures for good and save the world from them.

In an interview, John told his point of view about the sequel. He told that “It was one of those things where I wasn’t really going to do a second one because the first one was such a personal experience — it was my love letter to my kids, which looks insane now that you’re watching that. But it was really important for me to continue the metaphor and we actually start dealing with how this all started.”

A Quiet Place Part II Release Date

The movie is all set to release on May 28, 2021. The movie will have a 2 hour near runtime and will have a theatrical release. But, the movie will release on Paramount+ just after 45 days of the theatrical release. All the regions that don’t have Paramount+ in their region can still watch in the theater. We will probably get an alternative to Paramount+ to watch the movies in our regions.

A Quiet Place 2 Cast

The movie will have the same cast as part 1 with some additional faces. Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott, Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott, Noah Jupe as Marcus Abbott, and John Krasinski as Lee Abbott. The new faces will include Djimon Hounsou, Cillian Murphy as Emmett, Lauren-Ashley Cristiano, and Zachary Golinger as his family.

John Krasinski is directing the movie with Scott Beck, John Krasinski, and Bryan Woods writing the script. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller alongside John Krasinski are producing the movie. Marco Beltrami is handling the music of the movie. And that will be a key factor of the movie. Because when you have a movie with such few dialogues the music will increase the tension.
