Retired hacker Thomas Anderson, alias Neo, is about to make a startling discovery after unknowingly becoming hooked into the Matrix. A complex, pervasive computer system created to control free will. Neo encounters the leather-clad cyber-rebel Trinity and the motivational leader Morpheus. They both profess to have the answers to the nagging questions that have plagued him since he was imprisoned. The horrifying reality of an artificial dreamland slowly emerges as Neo falls down the rabbit hole. Hence, drawing the Agents’ attention to the sentient programmes that are manning all the entrances.
17. Goodfellas (1990)

In a neighbourhood filled with the toughest and most violent people, Henry Hill, a local lad turned gangster, lives. A purebred gangster named Tommy DeVito ends up being Henry’s closest pal. The two of them are combined by Jimmy Conway, who conducts some of the largest hijackings. Along with the robberies the community has ever witnessed. Henry must sneak behind the local mob boss Paulie Cicero after serving a lengthy prison term. Only f he wants to enjoy the luxurious life he has always desired. The companions eventually find themselves in a terrible situation. Hence, now they must use all of their resources to help one another and survive.
18. One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (1975)

McMurphy, who has a history of convictions for violence, is currently incarcerated once more. When it is revealed that his partner was actually fifteen years old and had lied about being eighteen, the prosecution is now statutory rape. Instead of serving his term in jail, he persuades the guards that he is mentally ill enough to require hospitalisation. He blends in dreadfully well, and his unique perspective actually starts to help some of the patients improve. When he refuses to follow medical protocol, Nurse Ratched is impatient and becomes his own cross to bear.

They quickly learn that they are dealing with a serial murderer who is hunting down victims who he believes symbolise one of the seven deadly sins. The wife of Mills, Tracy, who is expecting a child. But she is reluctant to give birth in the city’s lawless neighbourhood, is another acquaintance of Somerset’s. Se7en is David fincher’s one of the IMDb best movies.
20. Seven Samurai (1954)
Director- Akira Kurosowa
The quiet farmers of a tiny Japanese settlement in the sixteenth century have the fortitude to take matters into their own hands. After becoming weary of the yearly hit-and-run raids by a group of vicious bandits. They send the irascible villager Rikichi to bring assistance. When the farmer returns to the village, seven battle-scarred ronin take on the responsibility of protecting the defenceless hamlet. They are given the difficult duty of teaching the untrained peasants how to fight in exchange for some rice and lodging. The odds are undoubtedly against the farmers and their protectors before the approaching attack of the mounted plunderers. However, both have vowed to fight valiantly for their independence.
21. It’s A Wonderful Life (1946)

As we see in the flashback, George Bailey spends his entire life sacrificing his grandiose goals for the benefit of Bedford Falls. However, in the present, on Christmas Eve, he is devastated and suicidal due to the loss of a $8000 loan. Along with the schemes of the evil tycoon Mr. Potter. Clarence Odbody, his guardian angel, literally descends to Earth and shows him what his town, family, and friends would have looked like if he had never been born. He had such great significance for so many individuals.
22. The Silence Of The Lambs (1991)

He is perplexed by a spate of gory killings skillfully carried out by the elusive mass murderer known as “Buffalo Bill.” The young investigator unwillingly seeks the assistance of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist and cannibalistic mass murderer. All in an effort to gain a greater understanding of the psychotic serial killer’s method of operation. Clarice now dive ever so slightly deeper into the twisted psyche of a homicidal lunatic with each trip to the cunning doctor’s strongly fortified prison cell.

“City of God,” which is set in a lawless slum in Rio de Janeiro, follows the tale of Rocket, a budding photographer who is hoping to land his big break. So that he can finally leave the dangerous region. From his early years as a small boy dealing with his law-breaking brother and his gang to his teen years as a pretend hippie. The film follows Rocket’s life. Rocket starts to see that his career as a photographer is his sole outlet for maintaining his integrity as the savagery of crime rises. Rocket’s job will lead him to his most perilous assignment. Yet as a psychotic gangster named “Lil Ze” seeks to take control of the ghetto.
24. Saving Private Ryan (1998)

Beginning with the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944, members of the 2nd Ranger Battalion, commanded by Cpt. Miller fights to establish a beachhead. Two brothers are accidentally slain in the fighting. A third brother was previously killed in New Guinea. On the same day, all three grave telegrams are supposed to be delivered to Mrs. Ryan, their mother. When George C. Marshall, the chief of staff of the US Army, finds out that there is a fourth brother, Private James Ryan, he decides to send out 8 men to find him and bring him back to his mother, which gives him the chance to ease some of her sorrow.
25. Life is Beautiful (1997)

It’s 1939. Guido, who is jovial and mischievous, arrives. His elegant uncle, a Jew, who supervises him as he works as a server, is a careful man. Guido develops feelings for Dora, a teacher whom he refers to as his “princess,” and who he courtes by showing up at odd moments. To chose Guido, she leaves her fiance. The movie abruptly cuts to the closing weeks of the conflict. When Guido and the boy are sent to a concentration camp, Dora voluntarily goes along. Guido and Nora have a child named Giosué. Guido manages to talk to Dora, conceal Giosué, and persuade the youngster that this is a complex game in which he stands to win a tank despite the fact that the men and women in the camp are divided and a child is in grave danger.

With many disadvantages, Paul Edgecomb walked the mile. John Coffey, a huge black man who was found guilty of viciously killing two young sisters, was a character he had never faced before. Despite without a disposition, Coffey possessed the stature and strength to murder anyone. Coffey appeared to have a gigantic, supernatural gift in addition to his unsophisticated, nave disposition and a deadly fear of the dark. Paul started to wonder if Coffey really did kill the two girls.
27. Interstellar (2014)

Cooper, a former science engineer and pilot, is tethered to his farming property in the near future with his daughter Murph and son Tom in the American Midwest. The inhabitants of Earth realise their existence is coming to an end as food starts to run out and severe sandstorms destroy their crops. Cooper eventually finds a NASA base close to his home and is invited to join a dangerous journey inside a wormhole with a small group of other scientists since he is more scientifically knowledgeable than the other crew members and can fly an aircraft. In order to save the human race by locating another habitable planet as Earth degrades, Cooper must choose whether to stay or risk never seeing his children again.

A key figure in the resistance, Princess Leia, obtains the Death Star’s blueprints and gives them to the droid R2-D2, which she then instructs to seek out Obi-wan Kenobi. R2-D2 ends refuge on the Skywalkers’ farm with his companion C-3PO before he is discovered. Then R2-D2 wanders out into the desert, and Luke chases him until they come find Obi-wan.

The T-800, an outdated but deadly cyborg, and the T-1000, a vastly superior liquid-metal replica, are now vying for the same weak spot against the backdrop of an impending nuclear Armageddon.

Marty mistakenly starts the time machine, which sends him back to 1955 and into the path of his meeting of adolescent parents. In order to reconcile his parents, persuade Doc that he is from the future, and ultimately travel back to it, Marty needs to figure out how.
